Adelie Penguin at Shingle Cove, South Orkney Islands, on the way to the Antarctic Peninsula.
While zodiac cruising near Paulet Island on the Antarctic Peninsula, there were Adelie penguins in abundance due to a nearby colony.
Big seas while crossing the Drake Passage. If I had my camera in a waterproof housing I could have captured the water spray. But I ducked instead. By the way, I'm on the third deck of the boat and the spray reached there in force!
