Monument Creek, Grand Canyon National Park

On my month long journey down the Colorado river in the Grand Canyon, the majority of days were bright and sunny. However, one stormed moved through dropping some snow on the rim of the canyon, and resulting in a gray and overcast day during a hike through Monument creek. The fresh snow added some definition to the canyon rim. It was a spectacular hike and in retrospect, a pleasant relief from the bright sun that accompanied us most of the days.
