Damaraland is a region in south central Namibia, with a mixture of sand dunes and giant bouldered and rocky landscape. I spent just a day there but it was a pleasant one with an overnight in a very picturesque little tented hut, visible in the top of the photo. The view from inside the hut overlooked the region and the windows/walls roll up for an open air experience. It was nearly a full moon that night and light fell over the landscape as the breeze drifted through the hut. It’s a magical place.
